概要
As a Product Designer at Train Fitness, I redesigned the iOS app to improve usability, engagement, and retention. Working in a lean 2–3 person team, I led the design of AI-driven workout features, contributing to a 3.6× increase in trial conversions and raising Day 90 retention from 31% to 48.4%.
Collaborating directly with the CEO and CTO, I aligned design improvements with product strategy and built a scalable design system. The app was featured as App of the Day in April 2024 and recognized among the Best Apps for iOS 18, supporting the company’s growth toward Series A funding.

Tasked with evolving Train into a more inclusive, digitally fluent brand, I led the redesign of its visual identity—redefining the logo, color system, and design language to better reflect its bold simplicity and human-first mission. Inspired by form and motion, the new identity enhances clarity, consistency, and recognition across product and marketing touchpoints, supporting growth and deeper user engagement.
As part of Train's App Store Optimization (ASO) strategy, I developed multilingual App Store assets, improving app discoverability and boosting user acquisition. In parallel, I took the initiative to manage the brand’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, expanding the brand’s reach and supporting marketing growth efforts.

I worked closely with the founder of Open, a Pittsburgh-based design research consultancy, to shape a fun, dynamic brand identity.
Together, we explored visual directions and developed key assets, including company intro decks and client presentation templates. The final brand system captured the studio’s quirky, human-centered spirit while supporting clear, engaging communication.

概要
In collaboration with a local school district, we created a solution to boost high school students' career readiness. As a case study following our design guide, we developed a research-backed game that increased motivation for self-improvement in essential interpersonal skills. Successfully implemented in classrooms, the game earned positive feedback from students, teachers, and administrators.
The intervention won 1st Place at the 19th European Conference on Games Based Learning and recognition at the 2024 International Serious Play Awards.

I led the redesign of the printed report, updating its visual system to achieve a more polished, brand-aligned tone. 概要
UberEats currently delivers food to millions of users all around the world. But for users that are behind the wheel, visually impaired, or simply prefer to multi-task, ordering food online can be a tricky task. How can we introduce a CUI (conversational user interface) assistant into the existing food ordering ecosystem to heighten the ordering experience?

Our answer was Umi, our CUI assistant designed to help users under any circumstances to order from UberEats in an effortless, efficient, and personalized way through visual, sound, and voice. At the same time, Umi also optimizes the order-delivery process for restaurants and resolution of customer issues. We hope through targeting multiple stakeholders and pain points, Umi can truly become part of the food ordering ecosystem.

Using the AIGA 2019 Design Census data, #HUEAREYOU uses HEX codes to visualize the unique values each designer holds in the community. As users enter the site, they are encouraged to see where they fit in the community visualization by taking a quiz that measures their priorities and values, giving them a personalized HEX code.
